Ciera Payton uses her talents as a writer to create original content from her life experiences. Most notably is her one-woman stage production, Michael’s Daughter, which highlights her journey to womanhood while healing from the pains of having an incarcerated father. Michael’s Daughter premiered in the 2014 Los Angeles Fringe Festival and went on to be presented at ACT in San Francisco, the United Solo Festival in New York and the Los Angeles Women’s Theater Festival.
